TRANSLATION

Translation is the process of reproducing in one language a text or document written in another language. It applies to all types of texts or documents, including, but not limited to books, manuals, reports, advertising and marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and websites. The translated text is delivered to customers via e-mail and may be altered by customers to meet their specific needs.

We translate from English, Spanish, German, French and Italian into Portuguese and from Portuguese into those languages.

Our rates are based on the number of words in the document and are very competitive.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATION

AUDIO/ VIDEO TRANSCRIPTION

A certified translation is required for certain documents issued by public agencies (registers of vital statistics, consulates, courts of justice, immigration authorities, etc.) or educational institutions (schools and universities), among others. That includes birth, marriage and death certificates; criminal and judicial records; divorce decrees and pre-nuptial agreements; school diplomas, certificates and academic transcripts; articles of association, bylaws and other corporate documents.

Our certified translations are provided by a team of certified public translators that are native or native-like speakers of the languages we offer, i.e., Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, French and Italian.

The increasing number of instructional or institutional videos, podcasts and webinars produced in different languages and made available on the Internet or companies' intranets has generated a higher demand for transcription services (i.e. the process of transcribing your video's audio into text), followed by translation of the transcribed text. The resulting text can then be used for subtitling or closed captioning.

The price of a transcription is based on the duration of the video or audio. The cost for translation of the transcribed text is based on the number of words in the text.
